About Ellen Krueger, MS, LMT, BCPP,
RPE, LMHC, LMFT, CGP

Ellen is Director and Co-Founder of the Soma-Psyche Institute, a training Institute dedicated to providing a holistic approach to healing.

In keeping with the mission of the institute, Ellen strives to embody a holistic healing approach. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist and has expanded her bodywork training to include Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Trager, and Reiki. She is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Certified Gestalt Practitioner.

Ellen is deeply grounded in Polarity Therapy, an energy-based system of bodywork founded by Dr. Randolph Stone.

She is a nationally recognized Board Certified Polarity Practitioner, a Registered Polarity Educator and has been offering Associate in Polarity Principles (APP) and Registered in Polarity Principles (RPP) programs for over 20 years. She has trained hundreds of Polarity practitioners and trainers in the New York metropolitan area and throughout the country. Ellen was instrumental in designing the Polarity curriculum at the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences where she has been an instructor since 1996 and was the Chair of the Professional Development Dept. for 14 years.

Ellen brings to all her trainings her sense of humor, her warmth, her sensitivity, and the richness of her background in Gestalt Therapy, Depth Listening (Ellen trained for 12 years with Dr. Paul Donoghue, co-author of “Sick and Tired of Feeling Sick and Tired”) and Somatic Intuition (Ellen has taught Somatic Intuition and Advanced Somatic Intuitive Dialoging for over 16 years).

Ellen maintains a private practice in Manhattan and Cold Spring, NY. She is available for speaking engagements and is happy to speak with anyone interested in the various programs the Institute offers.
